I'm a pretty upbeat guy. Grew up surfing in Southern California and I've never lost my love of the beach, even living in NYC for 17years. One of these days I'll live on a beach. I've worked and learned from some really amazing photographers. Art Streiber, Joe Pug, Kwaku Alston, Amy Arbus, Norman Jean Roy and Smallz & Raskind (who shot this photo of me), just to name a few. These are a few artists that i have had the pleasure of working closely with while learning a lot about how to manage, handle and execute the complexities of shoots no matter how big or small.
Over the past few years I have taken what i have learned, molded and applied it to my very own photography bringing out my personality and nuances within the images we create. My biggest thing is connection. There has to be a human connection to the process, and that's where my job becomes important and for me one of the best elements. I truly enjoy working with people, connecting with them and letting each do their thing with some guidance and instruction. Through this process I guide my subject, they guide me and together we create our images.
